Masterstroke collaborations of FMCG, QSR, and Ridesharing Companies amid COVID-19 using the digitized mode

Pretty mistletoe-cool climate, India’s biggest tech hub cosmopolitan, guess me right? I’m talking about Bengaluru. The sportive living and co-working activities have exercised pandemic lockdown situation due to COVID-19, at the crack of Wednesday, 25 April dawn. After 12 days gone, one of India’s fastest growing FMCG, ITC FOODS Ltd has partnered with Domino’s Pizza-Jubliant FoodWorks Ltd in combating ongoing eco-pandemic stress. The macroeconomic environment of essential consumables continues to be adversely affected. The congregation with a slew of safety measures would promote adequate production and distribution of essentials ranging from a combo pack of Aashirvaad Atta and kitchen spices including chili, coriander and turmeric powder. This unique state-of-art ties between an FMCG and QSR (Quick Service Restaurant) start functioning from Thursday, 2 April in selected areas of Bengaluru available thorough delivery infrastructure app “Domino’s Essential section” on digital payment basis. ITC Foods founded in 2001 is the most trusted packaged staple brand of India’s household. More such “Stay Home-Stay Safe” PM’s overarching COVID-19 initiative will be available in the cities of Chennai, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Mumbai, and Noida ensuring uninterrupted delivery of essential consumables following “Zero Contact Delivery Practice” by delivery experts. Such a promising doorstep delivery partnership comes as responsible industry support. Committed team members would be working tirelessly to redouble food production facility and make safe in-transit of products to packed consumers following social-distancing and successfully implementing nation-wide lockdown.

In tune with such collaborations, “BigBasket (bb) also joined hands with Uber (Ride-sharing company)” and launched “A Last Mile Delivery Service” enabling earning opportunities for paused drivers by mitigating the acute shortage of delivery personnel in serving cities like Bengaluru, Chandigarh, Hyderabad, and Noida. In addition to this another FMCG, Marico has tied up with QSR delivery infrastructures like Swiggy and Zomato under the “Saffola store section” for delivery of essential consumables such as oats and Oils under Marico’s Saffola brand. This delivery facility has been started in Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chandigarh, Delhi NCR, Kolkata and Mumbai on Zomato and platform whereas Swiggy delivery services marked off from Gurgaon and presently extended to Bengaluru, Delhi-NCR and Mumbai. Various other stranded delivery drives like Ola Bike, Rapido, Meru cabs should pitch in for doorstep delivery of fresh animal and plant-based produce. Meaningful progressive collaborations would be highly effective in curbing ongoing pandemic stress.
